Me- "Why do you love Maddie, Caleb?"
Caleb- "Because she's my bestest friend and I really really love her."
Me- "I know you love her, but why? What do you like about Maddie?"
Caleb- "She's nice."
Mom- "Uh, huh. What else?"
Caleb- "She doesn't hit me. Oh, and it's really fun to play with her."
Mom- "Is there anything else that you like about Maddie?"
Caleb- "Yes! Just cause, mom! I just like her, mom! I really do."
