{What A Find}

I found this table and set of four chairs for CHEAP on Craigslist. I loved them because it was made from solid wood and it had great lines. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed it. Had to have her. My vision included white paint, sand paper, and some foam and fabric.

I'm turned on by her legs. And she has two lovely drawers. Ureka, I'm glad she's solid wood.




Those of you that know me may be asking why Care? Why would you put upon yourself a project when you are trying to get a house ready to sell? I know. I know. My hubby said the same thing. But I'm in love with it and it's going to be my new desk.

{All American Huh Moment}

I was getting ready to BBQ last night when Porter came into the kitchen. I got the normal, what's for dinner question. I rambled off the the menu and showed him the corn on the cob I was about to shuck.

To my surprise he said, " I don't like corn on the cob."

Knowing full well this kid could out butter and salt lick-eat me w/ this numiness, I started shucking the corn. His eyes lit up like firecrackers and I got a huge smile. "Oh yep", he said, "I like corn on the cob!"

Ding-ding-ding. The brain has computed...
